Uniform insignia of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the rank of Staff Sergeant. Made of durable Cordura with Laser Cut technology, which prevents fraying of edges. Sturdy Velcro allows quick attachment of the patch to the uniform.
MM-14 is an abbreviation for маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok, or camouflage pattern) and the year 2014, when the camouflage was officially adopted. The pattern refers to the American UCP camouflage, but the shades were adjusted to match the natural colors of the Ukrainian landscape. The introduction of the MM-14 camouflage was a significant step in the reform of the Ukrainian army, aimed at moving away from the post-Soviet aesthetic. Unofficially, MM-14 is also referred to as Ukrainian Pixel Camo or Ukrainian Digital Camo.
