Helikon-Tex BDU Cotton Rip-Stop Pants - US Desert

Functional cargo pants taking inspiration from the classic American military BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) design. Crafted from 100% cotton with a robust Rip-Stop weave that resists tearing.

Button fly closure. The waistband is adjustable with sewn-in straps, and the leg cuffs incorporate nylon straps to ensure secure attachment to boots or the leg. The knee and seat sections are fortified with an additional fabric layer.

The US Desert pattern, also referred to as 3 Color Desert, is a desert camouflage design developed to replace the 6 Color Desert Pattern. Created in 1990 and officially rolled out in 1992 for operations in the Middle East, the pattern incorporates three colors: beige, pale green, and brown. This allows for a simplified micro-pattern and reduces contrast compared to its predecessor. Its color scheme is more effective in arid, sandy regions and also mitigates fabric overheating. Widely adopted by US armed forces, this camouflage saw extensive use during Operation Desert Storm, as well as in Iraq and Afghanistan.
