Exped Ultra 1R LW 1-person matress
A lightweight mattress measuring 197 x 65 cm and 7 cm thick. It will be perfect for activities such as trekking, cycling expeditions, mountain camping or long-distance backpacking.
Thermal insulation coefficient R-Value
The model features a thermal insulation coefficient of R-Value 1.3, determined in accordance with the ASTM F3340-18 standard. This parameter defines the level of insulation from the ground - the higher the value, the more effective the reduction of heat loss.
R-Value interpretation used in the outdoor industry:
- 1.0-2.0 - use in summer conditions (night temperatures above approx. 10 st. C),
- 2.1-3.5 - use in spring-summer-autumn (approx. 0-10 st. C),
- 3.6-5.0 - cool conditions, around 0 st. C and sub-zero temperatures down to approx. -5 /-10 st. C,
- 5.1-7.0 - winter use, temperatures below 0 st. C,
- above 7.0 - winter conditions with increased insulation requirements.
Actual thermal comfort depends on the sleeping system (sleeping bag, clothing), ground type and the user’s individual resistance to cold.
Durable recycled material
The mattress is made of durable, lightweight, and recycled 20D polyester with a Rip-Stop weave, which is resistant to damage. Thanks to welded partitions in the mattress, cold spots have been eliminated while ensuring even support. Additionally, reinforcements on the sides prevent slipping off the mattress.
Airmat Technology insulation layer
The mattress is equipped with an Airmat Technology insulation layer that is permanently attached to both the upper and lower sections of the air chambers. This design provides consistent insulation throughout its entire lifespan, and the R-Value of 1.3 offers thermal comfort up to 10°C.
Inflatable bag, FlatValve valves
The set includes a Schnozzel Pumpbag UL, which allows you to quickly inflate the mattress. Two separate FlatValve valves allow for easy inflation and deflation.
