In my case, the canteen was in worse condition than I expected. Some of the straps were worn, the fasteners were bent, and the fabric cover was also worn in some areas. Inside and on the thread, I found small, sharp aluminum shavings. As Mr. Michał rightly pointed out, this canteen is not suitable for use, only for collection or reenactment purposes. Besides the mentioned flaws, I accepted the limitations resulting from purchasing surplus equipment, but the biggest drawback is the capacity — it wasn’t stated in the description, and it’s only about 400-450 ml. This definitely disqualifies it in this regard. Nevertheless, I’m giving it 4 stars because of its unique character.

The canteen comes from the resources of the Romanian Army. Equipped with a cap to prevent spillage of carried liquids and a cup with a folding handle. The design is protected by a removable wool cover and an adjustable leather strap with a carabiner allowing it to be attached to a backpack, bag or pants belt loop.

Very good condition, looks like it has just been taken out of storage, and there are no unusual smells. The piece I received had a slightly dirty cup on the inside, although otherwise everything appears unused. It is perfect for completing a collection. For everyday use, I would recommend more modern models :)
