MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern created in 2002 by Crye Precision, a US company, in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. The aim was to design a flexible camouflage pattern effective in diverse terrain and variable environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern is composed of seven colors, providing smooth transitions between greens, browns, and beiges. This design allows it to adapt to the environment, blending with greens in wooded areas or with browns and beiges in desert regions. In Central and Eastern European settings, it performs exceptionally well during autumn and in dry vegetation areas. MultiCam has earned global recognition and is utilized by numerous military and special forces units. In 2010, it was officially chosen by the US Army as the camouflage for troops deployed in Afghanistan, replacing the previous Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). Additionally, this pattern is accessible to civilians, making it a favored option among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
