I don't understand why some people have complaints about it. For me, both reception and transmission are much better. Just protect it and use it properly, and it will last a long time.

I used to deal with various radios during service, so after my own tests, I can give an opinion on this antenna – as far as range is concerned, not durability, since I have only been using it for a short time. It is practical and convenient, great for use in the mountains. In case of emergency, you can always call for help on open channels, not counting the GOPR channel. A cell phone can be useless in some places. I recommend this product.

Very good signal gain parameters, although the construction could be more solid – after a few months of use there are some signs of wear when folding and unfolding.

Baofeng antenna consisting of two parts. After extending the telescope, it allows for better range and was field-tested. The drawback is the build quality – the upper part of the telescope starts to break after a few uses.
