Very happy with this purchase. The backpack is well made and of good quality. I use it for day hikes and as a bag for my camera equipment, by adding protective inserts for the gear. It's more discreet than a traditional camera bag, which suits me perfectly. There are enough pockets and compartments for small loads. Thoughtfully designed for its purpose.
Badger Outdoor Sarge 30 l Backpack Black
Patrol backpack with a 30-liter capacity, ideal for daily activities, trekking, and survival situations. Featuring a spacious main compartment, two extra compartments, and multiple pockets to help organize your gear. The MOLLE trouser system enables expansion with additional gear, offering remarkable versatility.
Compartments covered with a flap, velcro panel
Inside the main compartment, there is a flat pocket secured with a velcro strap that can conveniently hold a 13-inch laptop. The medium compartment is capable of fitting, for instance, an A4 folder, while the small compartment includes an extra flat zippered pocket and a mesh pocket for easy storage of smaller items.
The compartments are shielded by a flap that is fastened with a fastex buckle, offering enhanced content protection. On the flap, there are two zippered pockets and a sewn-on velcro panel for attaching patches, emblems, or morale patches. Additionally, the flap features a drawstring rope, allowing for the attachment of extra gear, such as a jacket or a sleeping mat.
Compression straps, MOLLE system
The sides of the backpack are equipped with two adjustable compression straps with fastex buckles, which allow you to reduce the volume of the backpack or to stably attach items carried outside, such as a tarp, jacket or camouflage net. On the front and sides of the backpack, MOLLE system webbing has been sewn in, allowing additional pockets or equipment to be attached, adapting the backpack to a variety of tasks.
Carrying system with chest strap
Adjustable contoured suspenders and a chest strap ensure carrying comfort even during longer hikes. D-rings are placed on the suspenders, which allow you to hook up additional accessories. A handle on the top of the backpack allows you to carry it comfortably in your hand.

I bought this backpack three or four years ago in green, and I use it almost all year – for work, shopping, trips, etc. Always reliable, and despite several washes, it still looks great! Only the zipper in the small pocket broke, so I replaced it with a new one. Now I’m ordering the black version and I’m sure both will serve me for many years!

Great backpack both for everyday use and for day hikes. Many compartments, the molle system allows you to attach additional pockets. Solid workmanship at a good price. Highly recommended.

I’ve been using it for about a year. Most unnecessary buckles are already lost. I have to admit, having to always unbuckle the main clip to open the main compartments can get annoying over time, although it works for larger items like a sleeping bag or jacket (as in the promo video). This solution has its pros and cons. The top handle is quite narrow, so it’s hard to grip comfortably. The zippers aren’t as durable as they seem. Other than that, it's a good backpack for its price.
-
After two seasons of use (about 20 times – a few mountain trips, the rest for searcher’s gear, carrying for 2-3 hours), a hole appeared in the bottom and things fell out of the largest compartment. Additionally, the unpadded straps are uncomfortable and dig into your shoulders, even with just 2-3 kg. I’m already looking for a new backpack.

Unfortunately, laptops larger than 15 inches won't fit in the dedicated laptop pocket. The backpack does offer a lot of compartments, but they aren't very spacious – once you pack clothes, the rest are very tight.
-
The backpack is comfortable to wear and works well both for everyday use and outdoors. It has a lot of compartments and easily fits a smaller laptop. Both the material and workmanship seem solid.
-
Super backpack at a good price. The closure method may not suit everyone, but for me it's perfect. Many spacious and practical pockets. Wide straps are comfortable, even during long expeditions. I recommend it.

Great urban backpack for school – spacious and comfortable. Badger fixed the mistakes of other manufacturers and added the handle behind the back, not on the flap, so the seams are less stressed.
-
The backpack is solidly made, durable and sturdy. I tested it on a multi-day trip – it handled heavy loads, being stuffed, heavy rain, and other difficulties without a problem. The quality is great, it’s practical, and the size can be adjusted. No problem using it as carry-on luggage on a plane, it looks attractive, and it's comfortable to wear. I highly recommend it!

The backpack has a lot of pockets and compartments. The flap solution is nice – you can slide a sleeping bag or mat under it. An additional hip belt would be welcome, but it’s still comfortable to wear.
-
To be brief – in the offer photos, the backpack looks much better than in real life. It doesn't have as many pockets as some reviewers suggest, and it's quite soft.
-
Very solidly made! So far, very practical :) We'll see how it performs during use in the field. Judging by the contoured back, it should be comfortable even on longer trips :):)

For the price, the backpack is okay. I used it for several years and it worked well during numerous outings to the forest. It's nice that there are lots of pockets, and you can attach a sleeping pad, sleeping bag, or hydration bladder. The only downside is the small inner capacity and lack of wide opening, so you can't fit larger items. But for the price, it meets expectations.

I'm very happy with this backpack – the number of pockets lets you fit a lot of small things. However, remember the closure is unusual.
