Badger Outdoor Hammock Carabiner 12 kN - Black

Carabiner in black color made of aluminum. It was designed for hammock attachment and offers high mechanical resistance - the accessory withstands a static load of up to 12 kN (about 1200 kg), which allows it to be used with heavier and more varied equipment. The refined shape makes clipping in and out easier, while ensuring stable holding of ropes, straps or other fastening elements.

Sturdy aluminum construction with high durability

Carabiner made of 7075 aluminum is characterized by light weight and high resistance to mechanical damage. The T-shaped cross section reinforces its design, allowing it to achieve a strength of 12 kN. This makes it ideal for attaching hammocks and carrying smaller accessories.

Non-slip surface and user-friendly design

A special black non-slip texture ensures a secure grip, even when working with gloves. The ergonomic shape of the carabiner allows for quick and easy attachment and detachment. A wide 25 mm clearance increases compatibility with various suspension systems and mounts.

Versatility and ability to integrate with a variety of equipment

In addition to hammock mounts, the Carabiner will work well as an EDC accessory. It can serve as a key ring, a mount for attaching equipment to a backpack or as a component of the MOLLE system on tactical vests.

Its compact size and light weight make it easy to transport and to connect easily with other outdoor and hiking equipment.

Safety of use

Warning! The Carabiner is not intended for climbing belaying or other high-load activities.

I bought them to fasten my hammock and they work great. We tested them with different people – the maximum static load we had was 150 kg distributed over two carabiners, and everything was fine. They are lightweight and easy to use, working just like other carabiners. They have a good price and parameters, I definitely recommend them for trips with a hammock.

I bought 2 of them to use with the TigerWood hammock, mosquito net, and mounting straps. At first, I was skeptical about this kind of non-locking carabiners, but after testing, it turned out that they easily hold a hammock with a person weighing almost 90 kg inside.
