The shoe features Salewa's innovative Switchfit system, which allows the shoe to be quickly and easily laced up in a way that resembles a climbing shoe. The inner breathable GORE-TEX Extended Comfort lining guarantees maximum comfort in varied climatic conditions, protecting feet from moisture in rainy weather and effectively wicking sweat away.

The Wildfire Edge GTX features an insole with an additional rigid edge plate positioned under the forefoot, delivering enhanced directional rigidity. Meanwhile, the rest of the insole remains flexible to ensure optimal comfort and allow for natural foot movement.

The Pomoca Speed MTN sole is crafted from durable rubber, offering outstanding traction on smooth rock surfaces and slabs. Its specially designed tread pattern excels on muddy and soft terrain, providing reliable grip in both wet and dry conditions.

The front of the foot is safeguarded by an additional rubber layer, effectively preventing toe bruises. A similar protective design is applied to the edges of the entire foot, minimizing the risk of injuries by shielding the foot from direct impacts with stones or roots. Additionally, the shoes feature ankle stiffening and the System 3F, which ensures a secure fit, support, and stability during hiking. The high-quality Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insoles can be individually adjusted to match the user's foot shape, enhancing overall comfort.
