Rain ponchos (waterproof ponchos)

A rain poncho is an outer garment designed to protect the body from rain. It is distinguished by its rectangular design - it is wide both in the torso and on the sleeves, which do not adhere to the body. A characteristic feature of the poncho is that it is worn over the head. It is especially recommended for people who actively spend time outdoors. It is a good choice for hikers, cyclists or soldiers who need effective protection from the rain while performing military activities outdoors.

The rain cloaks offered at MILITARY.EU will work well during both shorter and longer off-road expeditions. Thanks to their design, they provide effective protection against rain, while remaining lightweight. When folded, the rain cape takes up minimal space, making it a practical and compact accessory for an expedition, much lighter than a standard rain jacket.

The ponchos we offer are not only rainproof, but durable and ready to meet the demands of extreme weather conditions. They are made of durable materials such as PVC plastic. Through the use of RipStop weave, the fabrics are durable and have increased tear resistance. In addition, the material of selected models has been coated with a layer of polyurethane (PU) for increased water resistance.

Lightweight, versatile and easily transportable rain ponchos are also available in insulated versions, equipped with a warm hood. They guarantee not only effective protection against rain, but also protect against cold and wind. We also have thermal ponchos, which are an indispensable addition to your closet in emergency situations. Their surface, made of waterproof and durable material, reflects up to 90 percent of heat, effectively protecting the body from cooling.

At MILITARY.EU we offer rain ponchos from brands such as Badger Outdoor, Mil-Tec, Helikon-Tex, Texar or Fjord Nansen. In addition to their classic purpose, ponchos are used in many different situations: they can be worn as an improvised jacket, serve as a sleeping bag or as an additional insulation layer inside a sleeping bag.
