Kryptek camouflage

Kryptek camouflage is a commercial modern proposal of contemporary camouflage patterns in many color variants, which are characterized by originality and good camouflaging properties. The camouflage patterns were designed by the American Kryptek Outdoor Group, or more precisely by its two founders, former American soldiers Josh Cleghorn and Butch Whiting. The name ,,Kryptek" although seemingly quite Polish-sounding, is a combination of two Greek words: Kryptos and Technos, the juxtaposition of which can be literally translated as , "hidden technologies.

A diverse group of Kryptek camouflage patterns has been developed for tactical-military operations in diverse terrain. Under the Kryptek name you will find a variety of camouflage forms that successfully imitate the flora and fauna of any natural environment. In addition, they are supplemented with marine and geographical landscape features. At first glance, Cryptek resembles snake skin. The multidirectional patterning of the pattern structure and rich motifs are characteristics of the described camouflage. It uses a three-dimensional effect in camouflage, making it effective in different environments and at many different distances. Each type of Kryptek pattern camouflages over a large number of landscapes and terrains under different latitudes. The most popular and effective colors used in Kryptek variants are brown, green, gray and beige, but some variants also use dark shades: black, gray, navy blue. The background of the pattern is made up of two layers of shadows, while geometric patterns reflecting light in a gradient pattern are placed in the foreground.
