Wisport Sparrow II 20 l Backpack - RAL 7013
The latest edition of the well-known Sparrow backpack is a compact 20-liter model crafted for survival and military applications, constructed from 500D Cordura in RAL 7013. Its design takes inspiration from the urban Raven model, reengineered for rigorous field deployment.
Durable Cordura construction
Constructed from rugged 500D Cordura, this material offers exceptional resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage, ensuring long-lasting durability in tough conditions.
2 compartments, 5 pockets, hydration system
Outfitted with two roomy compartments, the main one offers a 17-liter capacity with four D-rings stitched to the back panel for accessory attachment. The secondary compartment includes an expanded organizer to keep small items neatly arranged. The main compartment also has mesh pockets with zipper closures. The lid features a flat pocket matching the main compartment's size, with a depth of about 4 cm, perfect for storing documents, maps, or a small laptop. Externally, the lid has a small quick-access pocket for convenience.
A hydration bladder hook is available inside, along with a hose port and two mounting points (one on each shoulder strap) to ensure stable attachment of the system.
Main closure and protective flaps
A two-way zipper runs along three sides of the lid, providing a wide opening for the backpack and easy access to both compartments. Each zipper is durable and wear-resistant, designed with textile pullers suitable for glove use. Additional protective flaps guard the zippers from dirt and moisture.
Carrying system, compression straps, transport handle
The ACS – Air Comfort System enhances structural integrity and back ventilation to improve carrying comfort. Contoured shoulder straps with quick-release capability and an adjustable chest strap provide a customized fit. The inner surface of the straps is crafted from dense, snag-resistant material.
On each side of the backpack, there are two adjustable straps with fastex 30 mm buckles, intended for compression or to secure gear externally, such as a tarp, mat, jacket, or camouflage net. A wide and extended transport handle is situated at the top for easy hand carrying.
MOLLE / PALS
The MOLLE/PALS webbing on the front, sides, and bottom facilitates the attachment of additional gear or offers quick access to equipment that is in urgent need.
Velcro panel
A velcro panel is located on the front, allowing for personalization of the backpack with patches, flags, or morale patches.
Manufacturer's warranty

Very good backpack in every way, although for me the downside is the weight—the solid cordura does weigh something, so for everyday work I feel the weight a bit, especially at the end of the day. Other than that, it is very well made.

I bought the backpack in July 2021 and have been using it almost daily. It is very solid. After washing, the molle straps got a bit damaged, so I've since washed it in a protective cover. I also noticed that the price has gone up a lot – four years ago, I paid 299 PLN for it.

This is basically a smaller version of the Sparrow 30, practically identical :) Thanks to this, it's very comfortable for daily use, because 30 liters is a lot, and if it's not fully packed, it can be a bit floppy. I can wholeheartedly recommend it as a backpack for everyday use.

Durable, well-designed backpack. Works great for everyday use as well as for outdoor trips. Very tough material, resistant to damage and moisture, gives you confidence in reliability. 20 liters of capacity and a well-thought-out pocket layout allow for convenient organization, and the MOLLE system makes expanding it easy. The backpack is comfortable even with extended wear—shaped straps and a reinforced back increase comfort. Ideal for people looking for durability and functionality without unnecessary extras. Wisport, as always, did not disappoint—I recommend it.

A versatile backpack, great for both one-day trips out of town and for daily use at work. Sparrow 20 replaces my Sparrow 30 when I need something smaller. You can also expand it with special side pockets or other accessories in the molle system.

I already have the Sparrow 30 model, but I needed something smaller for work and the Sparrow 20 works great. It has comfortable straps, fits drinks, food, daily accessories, and a small speaker with headphones. It’s definitely worth tying up the dangling cords with rubber bands, four are already on the backpack, but an extra set is very handy and keeps things from tangling.
