Meindl Pro Provider are very good tactical boots that offer comfort, light weight, and solid construction. In my opinion, they are better than Lowa Z6/Zephyr MK2 and Salomon Quest 4 Forces, especially if you value stability and wearing comfort. The only downside is that they are a bit too warm for summer.
Meindl Provider Pro GTX Boots - Brown/Beige
Lightweight and sturdy tactical boots that provide comfort in a range of situations, thanks to the breathable Gore-Tex membrane. The upper, crafted from suede cowhide leather and Cordura mesh, guarantees durability and damage resistance.
Active Air insole, Gore-Tex membrane
Sweat-resistant Active Air insoles promote optimal air circulation, enhancing comfort during extended wear. The high upper offers effective ankle stabilization and reduces pressure. An internal Gore-Tex membrane, paired with 24 ventilation openings, efficiently wicks away excess moisture, protects against wetting, and aids in maintaining hygiene.
efficient lacing system
The expertly designed lacing configuration features 3 pairs of metal hooks, 3 pairs of textile loops, and 1 pair of metal eyelets, enabling fast and precise shoe adjustments. The tongue, integrated with the upper, effectively prevents water from entering, while the textile loop ensures it stays securely in place.
Multigrip G4 Sole with EVA Insole, Contoured Tread
The Meindl Multigrip G4 slip-resistant, antistatic outsole is equipped with a deep, contoured tread that provides stability and excellent grip on various surfaces. The sole is durable, resistant to abrasion, and does not react with gasoline, oils, greases, or diluted acids. The EVA foam insole provides optimal cushioning, increasing comfort during long movements in demanding terrain.
EN ISO 20347:2012 Standard, SRC Class
The Provider PRO GTX model meets the requirements of the EN ISO 20347:2012 standard for work shoes and the SRC class for slip resistance of the sole.

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.
EVA is a lightweight foam made of plastic characterized by flexibility and durability, as well as good resistance to chemicals and moisture. It is widely used in the production of clothing, footwear and accessories.
Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Gore-Tex is widely used in the production of outdoor clothing and footwear.
Anti-sweat Active Air insoles provide adequate air circulation for increased comfort during activity.
EN ISO 20347:2012 is an international standard that specifies requirements for professional footwear for professional use. Footwear meeting this standard provides foot protection in the form of anti-slip, anti-static, shock-absorbing properties and resistance to oily and petroleum-based substances, but does not have to be equipped with a protective toecap. ISO certification confirms that the manufacturer meets certain standards for personal protective equipment.
SRC class is a designation used in international safety standards for safety footwear (EN ISO 20345) and occupational footwear (EN ISO 20347) that defines the highest level of slip resistance. In order for footwear to receive the SRC classification, it must simultaneously meet the requirement of SRA - slip resistance on a ceramic base coated with a sodium lauryl sulfate solution (a strong detergent), and SRB - slip resistance on a steel base coated with glycerol (an oily surface).

The shoes are great in terms of quality and comfort. The only minor downside is the lack of a pull loop on the heel, which would make putting the shoes on easier (I have this feature in my Lowa and Salomon shoes). The sole and tread are top notch, plus a big advantage is the lacing – the foot is very stable.
