Leatherman ARC Multitool with sheath

The multitool is fine, although I think the price is a bit too high. I have been using it for over a year now, but yesterday, when I wanted to break a window in my Passat, I couldn't break it, and the bits fell out almost like Kargul's lock. Today I bought the missing parts and completed the set. Overall, if I didn't have it yet, I would probably decide to buy it with a 90% chance.

I bought it... because I wanted to add it to my collection. It joined my other models: Rev, Sidekick, Rebar, Skeletool CX, ST300, Wave+ Polish Army, and Surge. I have to admit, I am a collector :) I’ve been thinking about the ARC since its release. The price didn't put me off; it was just a matter of opportunity. Now, I finally got it ;) and I have my own ARC. First impressions – it is relatively light. Very well made and opens smoothly. I knew it could be opened with one hand, but it works like a balisong :) No other knife has given me so much joy while opening since the SOG with axle-lock. The MagnaCut blade is very sharp and looks nice. The scissors are also great, easily accessible, and attractive. The whole tool looks really good. I definitely won't use it for heavy work, in the workshop, during renovations, or construction. It doesn’t need to prove anything. It just has to please the eye and be ready at hand.

I've been using it for two days and am satisfied with the solid build. The engraving option is a nice feature, which I took advantage of. The price is high by Polish standards, but the quality is truly impressive. I recommend it.

Great tool, I use it daily and always have it with me, but at this price, the build quality should be better – after less than a year of use, a joining piece broke and fell off when opening the knife. The 25-year warranty is a plus, but it will take some time before it's repaired and sent back from Germany.

I bought this multitool for myself as a gift; it's very expensive but excellent. For typical work, I'd rather recommend something cheaper, but if you want the flagship model with an excellent warranty, it will be a perfect choice.

I bought it for my husband – he's thrilled. He keeps playing with it and looking for excuses to cut or tighten something.

This is the most expensive Leatherman. I struggled for a long time deciding whether it was worth buying, but finally went for it. The Free technology is fantastic – I wish every Leatherman model had this solution.

I bought this multitool because it looks like a work of art. I thought it would replace my Wave+, but it's almost a shame to use it – it's so nicely made. An advantage is the ability to open everything with one hand, although it takes practice at first. The Magnacut blade is sharp, though I expected it to be even sharper – I have other knives made of this steel that are sharper right out of the box.

A solid tool, the biggest plus is the ability to open everything with one hand. The MagnaCut blade is the strongest point of this model. However, there are some things that annoy, like scissors that are too short, an impractical 'hammer,' and no t-shank slot. It's worth spending this much money mainly if you are a brand fan – for occasional use, any Leatherman will do.
