The Morale Patch, made of durable Cordura and nylon, depicts a Spartan helmet with wings, two crossed Gladius and the Staff of Aesculapius. The emblem is equipped with one-sided Velcro, which allows it to be attached to elements of the equipment equipped with a velcro panel.
Morale patch patches are worn by soldiers and other services alongside patches specific to their own unit to "boost morale." They are a kind of identifying and unifying element for the group and are an element of soldier humor.
