The cleaver is okay. The inscriptions on the handle look a bit cheap, and the finish on the grip could be better – it's worth sanding it down with sandpaper. The blade looks interesting and is good for chopping tenderloin for steak tartare.

A pleasant and stylish kitchen knife. The blade needed some work, as it was unevenly sharpened with different angles on each side (maybe I just have bad luck with products from the USA, or maybe it's common). It's a good idea to additionally sand the handle and protect it. Because the steel is prone to rust, always wipe it thoroughly and you can grease it lightly. If you like this style, I recommend it.

An inexpensive and cool knife.
-
Great – it works perfectly for outdoor cooking, e.g. when fishing. I recommend it.
-
It’s good for heavier tasks, but as a knife it doesn't work best in my opinion.

The product fulfills its role perfectly, I have no complaints.

First impression is very good, the cleaver seems solid. It has a preliminary sharpening, but for more precise work further sharpening is necessary. The handle is a bit rough, one half of mine was very dry – wiping it with a cloth and some lemon oil helped.

Great knife made from 1095 steel, which says a lot in itself. It sharpens instantly and after a few touch-ups is even suitable for shaving hair. The finish is a bit rough, but the knife has its own unique character. For the price, considering Polish realities, the quality is very good. I definitely recommend it.

I bought two pieces—one made perfectly, the other sharp but with finish imperfections. The handle on the second knife is poorly finished and the marking on the blade is barely visible, but overall, I am satisfied. I definitely recommend it.

Great tool. The cleaver fits well in the hand and is balanced. It comes pre-sharpened, so it's ready to use right away, but you can sharpen it further for slicing. I recommend it!

I got a great specimen – even grinds, nice handle texture, and clear marking. Right out of the box, the knife is sharp enough to work with. For an Ontario product, the handle has a rough finish – for me that's a plus, because it provides a good grip, but some people may not like the roughness and in that case, you can smooth it out with sandpaper and wipe it with linseed oil. It's clear that the knife has a partial tang, which is understandable for its use because it saves materials.

Excellent value for money. Very good knife, I honestly recommend it!

I have 6 different models from the Old Hickory series and EACH of them had production flaws. The grinds are uneven and irregular, the wood on the handle cracks at the rivets or has chips, and the signatures on the blade and handle are sometimes visible, sometimes not. The people finishing these knives do so very carelessly. The descriptions of these knives shouldn't mention solid quality. I bought them over several years and from various places, so my opinion is reliable. I'm attaching a photo of the knife.

The kitchen knife made of 1095 steel is quite solidly made for its price. Just to be sure, I also lacquered the handle myself.

Great traditional knife, I recommend it to every bushcraft enthusiast.
