The pouch does its job. I tested it with several walkie-talkies and they fit without any problem. Currently, I keep a Baofeng in it. The pocket doesn't press the buttons and the radio doesn't fall out. I recommend it.

Crafted from durable Cordura 560, this pocket in MAPA camouflage is specifically designed for carrying radios. Elastic bands on the sides ensure a secure fit for various radio types within the pocket.
An elastic cord with a grip is located at the top of the pocket to further prevent the radio from slipping out.
The pocket can be attached to a belt or other tactical gear using the laser-cut MOLLE mounting system.
The MAPA camouflage pattern was created by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and current researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He is also the author of several publications, including Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdansk 2015). The innovative design, supported by extensive theoretical and experimental evidence, such as computer analysis of thousands of terrain photographs, has caught the interest of specialists and military apparel manufacturers. In 2017, the MAPA camouflage debuted at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce as the camouflage for the Dromader armor and uniform system from Maskpol, part of the Polish Armament Group. This system was intended for the Territorial Defense Army soldiers, though MAPA itself was also considered a potential pattern for the entire Polish Armed Forces, where it could replace the wz.93 camouflage. To date, the MAPA camouflage has not been officially adopted by the Polish Army.
Highlights of the MAPA camouflage in the standard forest variant:
- 6 colors that create layers resembling map elevations,
- colors fine-tuned for operations in Central European forests,
- the illusion of three-dimensionality and anamorphosis effect,
- biomorphic shapes lending a vegetation-like appearance,
- highly contrasting elements that mimic light flashes and shadows,
- macro pattern that disrupts the masked shape,
- color noise generated via a micro pattern.
The MAPA pattern presents a compelling alternative to leading modern camouflage patterns like PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn, or Finnish M/05. It surpasses some in technological advancement and better matches the colors found in Central European forests from late spring through early autumn.

The pocket is made very carefully. Thanks to the flexible sides, it doesn't press the radio buttons. The Baofeng UV82 fits in without any problem.
-
Like every product from Maskpol – the quality of the materials is very high. Standard Baofeng radios fit perfectly, but larger radios will fit as well. The price may be higher, but the product is worth it.

I've been using it for over a year now; I've mounted and removed it from a vest, belt, or backpack many times – the material is still durable, holds well, and works perfectly. I recommend it.

Solid workmanship, small size with adjustable options. The open design provides easy access to controls and allows you to remove the radio even while wearing gloves. I recommend it.

Maskpol guarantees great quality and the price is affordable. The Baofeng fits perfectly. The rubber grip makes it easier to remove the radio, even when wearing gloves. The adjustment range is wide.

The pouch is worth its price. It works very well and fits perfectly with Baofeng radios as well as those used by the services. I use it myself and am satisfied, it matches the camouflage of the Polish Army uniforms very well, so the superiors probably won’t have any objections ;)
