Maskpol TM-02 Tactical Belt TM-03 - MAPA

\ Sturdy tactical belt crafted from dense polyester webbing with MAPA camouflage. The outer belt features laser-cut slots that adhere to the MOLLE mounting standard, facilitating the attachment of essential tactical gear. Equipped with a heavy-duty Cobra® FC45 buckle, the belt's fastener ensures easy handling, regardless of the amount of gear attached. The inner side of the outer belt is lined with Velcro, allowing for straightforward installation on the inner belt.

\ The included inner belt is strengthened with double stitching and can be smoothly adjusted using Velcro. Measuring 45 mm in width, the set is compatible with most tactical pants.

\The MAPA camouflage pattern was created by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. He is also the author of Theory of Deconstruction of Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdansk 2015). The innovative design, backed by compelling theoretical and experimental evidence, including computer analyses of thousands of terrain photos, grabbed the attention of specialists and military apparel manufacturers. The MAPA camouflage debuted in 2017 at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce as the pattern for the Dromader system of armor and uniforms from Maskpol, part of the Polish Armament Group. Although originally intended for the Territorial Defense Army, the MAPA pattern was also considered as a potential replacement for the existing wz.93 pattern across the Polish Armed Forces. However, the MAPA pattern has not yet been adopted as the official camouflage of the Polish Army.

\Key features of the MAPA camouflage in the standard forest version:

- \6 hues forming layers similar to map elevations,
- \colors optimized for Central European forest operations,
- \utilization of three-dimensional illusion and anamorphosis effect,
- \biomorphic shapes that mimic vegetation,
- \high contrast elements that imitate light and shadow,
- \macro-pattern altering the shape of the masked form,
- \color noise produced by a micro pattern.

\The MAPA pattern serves as an intriguing alternative to top-tier modern camouflage designs such as PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn, or Finnish M/05. In several aspects, it surpasses them and more accurately reflects the colors found in Central European forests from late spring to early fall.
