Great option, especially if you don't want to prepare kindling yourself. Just shave a bit with a knife and you’re ready. A few sparks from a fire striker and you have fire. Very useful in emergencies.

The purchase was mainly out of curiosity. The shaved shavings can easily be lit with a fire starter. The stick also has a pleasant smell – it might come in handy in emergency situations.
