The fleece is made of high-quality material. The fabric is more elastic than in the Patriot model, which makes it fit the body better. It’s quite long, but while the Patriot in size XS was fine, the MK2 model in size M turned out to be the best, providing a bit of freedom. Very comfortable and warm fleece. I hope the zippers will last.

The Polar is characterized by very good quality. The second edition of the Patriot model fits better and the material is no longer so stiff. The jacket is quite long. I usually wear size XS in the standard version, but with this model, M fit me. The color is nice, the zipper actually seems weaker, but I hope it will be durable.

I'll say this: I tend to get cold easily, so in freezing weather I'd look for something warmer or wear more layers, but at around 5 degrees in the forest with moderate activity, this fleece along with a thermal shirt and possibly a jacket (without insulation) worked great. Highly recommend for such conditions.

The fleece provides a pleasant warmth during autumn temperatures. It has plenty of pockets. Unfortunately, in my case, the main zipper can get stuck, and you have to hold the material inside firmly to lower it.

The fleece is indeed thinner and lighter than the previous model. I haven't had a chance to check if there's a real difference in warmth yet. The inside of the sleeves is finished in a grid pattern – similar to the Alpha model. The previous version had a looser fit, whereas the Mk2 is more fitted – in my opinion, that's an advantage. The Tiger Stripe camouflage looks fantastic in person.

I can compare this fleece to its earlier version, which I used for years. The new version is lighter, has a thinner material, and a much better lining. The hood has a better shape and reinforcement, and the additional pockets at the hips are very practical. Unfortunately, I had to return the MK2 and buy the previous model because the zipper in the new version was difficult to fasten – I think I got a faulty piece. The cuffs with elastic bands didn't work for me, and the plastic hood adjusters dug into my neck when fastened. The new version fits closer to the body, which isn't for everyone. The black accent of the older model also looks better. I dream of an MK3 model combining the advantages of both versions.

As usual, Helikon maintains a high standard. I already have the Patriot 1, now I decided on the MK2. This model is different, but not thinner, as some claim, because it has various inserts. It's definitely a bit narrower at the waist and longer – which I consider a plus. The garment is very carefully designed and made.

The fleece is very comfortable and warm, but the zippers are a disaster – they’re hard to use and very irritating in operation. Aside from that, it fulfills its function, you can wear it as an outer layer or as extra protection under a jacket.

This fleece is a lifesaver for me on cold days – very well made, soft yet sturdy. The pockets are arranged very conveniently. Combined with the Wolfhound jacket, I felt comfortable even at -10°C.

I've never had such a warm fleece before. It's comfortable and perfect for winter. It has plenty of pockets and a ventilation system in the form of zippers under the arms covered with breathable material, so you can open them without worrying about showing anything underneath. There's also a very practical pen holder on the sleeve side. In gray, it works perfectly as low profile clothing.

For me, Patriot is a solid sweatshirt – you can immediately feel it's not a cheap supermarket product. However, keep in mind it's a rather warm option, which can be too hot for spring.
