A lightweight mattress with dimensions of 197 x 65 cm and a thickness of 7 cm. Perfect for activities like trekking, cycling trips, mountain camping, or long-distance backpacking.
Thermal insulation coefficient R-Value
The model features a thermal insulation coefficient of R-Value 4.8, determined in accordance with the ASTM F3340-18 standard. This parameter defines the level of insulation from the ground - the higher the value, the more effective the reduction of heat loss.
R-Value interpretation used in the outdoor industry:
- 1.0-2.0 - use in summer conditions (night temperatures above approx. 10 st. C),
- 2.1-3.5 - use in spring-summer-autumn (approx. 0-10 st. C),
- 3.6-5.0 - cool conditions, around 0 st. C and sub-zero temperatures down to approx. -5 /-10 st. C,
- 5.1-7.0 - winter use, temperatures below 0 st. C,
- above 7.0 - winter conditions with increased insulation requirements.
Actual thermal comfort depends on the sleeping system (sleeping bag, clothing), ground type and the user’s individual resistance to cold.
Durable recycled material
The mattress is crafted from durable, lightweight recycled 20D polyester featuring a Rip-Stop weave and protected by a TPU coating. Cold spots are eliminated and uniform support is ensured due to welded partitions within the mattress. Additionally, side reinforcements prevent sliding off the mattress.
Synmat Technology insulating layer
The mattress incorporates a Synmat Technology insulation layer, utilizing the insulation from internal air chambers paired with Texpedloft fiber. This design guarantees consistent insulation throughout its lifespan, and the R-Value of 4.8 ensures thermal comfort down to -20 deg. C.
Pump bag, FlatValve valves
Included in the set is a Schnozzel Pumpbag UL, which enables swift inflation of the mattress. Two separate FlatValve valves facilitate easy air inflation and deflation.
