Edelrid OHM-II Belaying Device - Oasis

Belaying device crafted for different types of climbing, ideal for both novice and experienced climbers. It is compatible with single ropes measuring 8.9 to 11 mm in diameter.

The device functions by reducing the guide's load through rope friction, making it roughly equivalent to increasing the belayer's weight by 25 kg during a fall. This feature helps to avert sudden jerks or the belayer being pulled towards the wall. To lower the risk of incorrect rope clipping, pictograms are placed on the device. The maximum weight difference between the belayer and the guide must not be more than 10 kg. A snap hook with a strap and a swivel allows attachment to the anchor point, automatically adjusting for optimal performance.
