I have reservations about the number of pockets – one more inner pocket would be useful. I would also prefer the external pockets to be closed with a flap, not a zipper. However, I really like the chest pocket for the phone, closed with a zipper. The collar is also excellent. I am curious how the jacket will perform in the rain.

Brandit Superior Jacket - Olive
The olive-colored travel jacket has removable sleeves, allowing for conversion into a vest. The outer layer is made from polyester coated with polyvinyl chloride, providing water resistance at a level of 3000 mm/m2. A breathable inner mesh lining ensures proper air circulation.
windproof strip, packable hood
The jacket is fastened with a wide zipper along its entire length, protected by a windproof flap with button closures, ensuring protection against the cold. The large hood, stowable in the high collar, elastic cuffs, and drawstring at the bottom of the jacket provide additional protection against wind and precipitation.
eight pockets, D-ring
The Superior model is equipped with eight spacious main pockets with smaller compartments. The pockets are secured with zippers and Velcro, offering side or top access. Under the right chest pocket is a practical D-ring. The inner Velcro pocket is designed for carrying handy accessories.
MOLLE straps

This is really a solid, waterproof jacket. The hood hidden in the collar is a great solution. The jacket is warm and has lots of functional pockets. Products from this brand have not let me down so far.

I bought the Brandit Superior Jacket (Olive color) after a long consideration because there weren’t many reviews and I couldn’t get a similar Helikon model in my size. Its cut and appearance are interesting thanks to numerous pockets and straps – it kind of reminds me of a fishing vest. The jacket is heavy and not very easy to pack – the material is quite stiff – but it provides very good protection from rain and wind. The downside is poor breathability – even though the mesh lining breathes, I still sweat a bit in it, especially when the wind is strong. I think ventilation holes under the arms would be useful. Size L fits my figure perfectly, the sleeves are also just right, which is not always obvious for me. Overall, I recommend this jacket.

I had to exchange the jacket for a larger size because, in my case, the sleeves were too short. The store did a great job handling the exchange procedure, for which I highly praise them. I tested the jacket in the rain in the forest, with the hood on my head. It has plenty of functional pockets. I think it was money well spent.

It's a pity that with so many pockets there aren't any slanted hand pockets, but seriously, the jacket is excellent! Very well made, I ordered a slightly larger size to fit a fleece underneath for colder days. I haven't detached the sleeves yet, I'll probably do that for the summer.

The jacket looks very good and is well sewn. It's hard to say how long it will last, but it gives the impression of being durable. I usually chose contract jackets, but this time I was captivated by the color. As for the express shipping – truly impressive.
