Wiley X Climb Glasses - Captivate Polarized Bronze Mirror/Gloss Tortoise
Comfortable, well-fitting protective glasses. The lenses have high mechanical strength, protecting eyes from shards, ricochets, and other flying objects, meeting the requirements of class F (providing protection against objects weighing 0.86 g moving at a speed of 45 m/s).
HVP technology, Triloid frame material
Anatomically designed frames and eyewear lenses are made with HVP (High Velocity Protection) technology. They provide protection against injuries that may be caused by high-speed objects.
The frames are made from durable Triloid material. Their construction ensures a good fit without reducing comfort while wearing hearing protectors. Rubber, non-slip temples and nose pads guarantee stable positioning on the face.
Captivate technology polarized lenses
The lenses are made from damage-resistant Selenite polycarbonate. They provide a light transmission level of 15%. They perform excellently in outdoor activities, in sunny weather, and bright lighting. The T-Shell coating protects against scratches.
Polarized lenses made with Captivate technology balance the visible light spectrum, which means light reaches the eyes in a more uniform way. They maintain color neutrality while accentuating green. They reduce glare, increase contrast, and enhance colors in outdoor environments, protecting eyes from harmful UV UVA and UVB radiation, as well as blue light (HEV).
An Oleophobic coating is applied to the lenses, which prevents the accumulation of dust, dirt, oil, snow, and water, making it easier to clean the lenses compared to standard lenses without such a coating.
Protective standards
- ANSI Z87.1+ (High Mass Protection) - according to this standard, the frame and lenses must withstand the impact of a 0.5 kg object falling from a height of approximately 130 centimeters.
- ANSI Z87.1+ (High Velocity Protection) - under this standard, the frame and visor will withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel ball moving at 164.6 km/h (45 m/s).
- Standard EN.166F - meets the European standard for medium energy impact protection, where the frame and visors resist the impact of a 6 mm diameter steel ball weighing 0.86 g, moving at 162 km/h.
