The 5-6400/360 professional map compass by the Swedish brand Silva is crafted from robust plastic. This compass is designed for users who require a precise and comprehensive navigation instrument.
Photoluminescent elements on the dial, needle, and base enhance usability in dim lighting, lasting for 4 hours once charged. It also comes with a magnifying glass, 90mm and 1.5 inch rulers, scales of 1:25,000, 1:40,000, 1:50,000, as well as additional scales of 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 on a flexible tape.
The dial, which rotates, includes a rubber DryFlex grip for secure and easy handling. Silicone non-slip pads ensure stability even in challenging conditions.
Moreover, the compass incorporates a Romer scale for efficient navigation with both compass and GPS, features graduation in miles and degrees (6400/360), and includes a built-in magnetic declination adjuster.
