Camouflage MultiCam
MultiCam is an advanced camouflage pattern that was created in 2002 by the US-based company Crye Precision, in collaboration with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs), as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. The aim was to design a flexible camouflage pattern effective across different terrains and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern features seven colors, forming gradient transitions among green, brown, and beige shades. Consequently, it adapts dynamically to its surroundings, using green hues in wooded areas and browns and beiges in desert regions. In the Central and Eastern European settings, it performs exceptionally well during autumn and in areas with dry vegetation. MultiCam has received global recognition and is employed by numerous military forces and special units. In 2010, it was officially adopted by the US Army as the standard camouflage pattern for troops stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the prior Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also accessible to civilian users, making it a favored choice among military and airsoft enthusiasts.
