Petzl Core Battery

I have two Petzl headlamps and regret that I decided to buy the rechargeable battery so late. Using it alternately with batteries, I always have a steady source of light. Using it is trouble-free, so I recommend it to everyone who owns headlamps of this brand.

This is a good rechargeable battery at a reasonable price. The headlamp works noticeably better with it. A big plus for the included charging cable. The only downside is that it doesn’t show charge level with multiple LEDs—just one.

Petzl's website says the CORE battery is equivalent to as many as 900 regular batteries – amazing! It's better to invest once in a rechargeable battery than to keep buying expensive ones. With batteries, my Actik Core 600 lm headlamp only lights up to 450 lm, so it's much better with the rechargeable battery. Charging with USB type B doesn't bother me. I am very satisfied and recommend it!

I agree with previous reviewers - with the battery the flashlight shines better than with batteries. It charges quite quickly. I recommend having a flashlight with a battery, and keep regular batteries as a backup in the backpack, or vice versa. In terms of runtime and light quality, the battery lasts much longer than regular batteries.

Replacing the battery takes less time than regular batteries. Fast charging lets you use it earlier. I recommend it to everyone as a convenient piece of EDC gear for daily use.

In my opinion this is an essential accessory for the Aria 2 headlamp. It has 150 lumens more and lasts longer. I think I’ll buy myself another one, especially since it’s on sale now. Definitely recommend this purchase.

I recommend it for the Petzl Actik headlamp. The downside of the battery is charging via micro USB. The manufacturer should offer USB-C charging, as it is the current standard.

Great solution – instead of three AA batteries, a single rechargeable battery provides a much longer operating time. Fast charging is a big plus. The only downside is the lack of a charging port cover. I rate it 5/5.
