Disappointment. 1. The flashlight starts flickering when the battery is running low (very quickly in bright mode). While walking in the dark, suddenly the light goes out and you can trip and hurt yourself. 2. The plastic strap adjustment element broke — now it can’t be adjusted. 3. The closure broke — a gap appeared and sometimes the light works, sometimes not; there’s a bad contact. The flashlight was used rarely, was not mechanically damaged, and did not fall. I'm wondering if I can return it.
Aria 1 headlamp flashlight, with350 lumens and a maximum range of 70 meters. Equipped with 3 modes of white light. The diode used allows for a diffused beam of light. Changing modes is done with a single button, allowing you to adjust the type of beam to suit your current needs. Built-in Lock function locks the flashlight from accidental activation during transport.
The Aria 1 comes with three AAA batteries, but is also compatible with the Petzl Core rechargeable battery (available separately). The flashlight automatically detects the power source and adjusts its lighting parameters accordingly. When using the rechargeable battery, the maximum output increases to 450 lumens.

Made of plastic, the housing is lightweight yet durable. It meets IK07 impact and drop resistance standards. The flashlight is dustproof and waterproof according to the IP67 standard - immersion to a depth of 1 m for 30 minutes.

This is an older model from Petzl, but it's worth its price. The sealing has been improved, though accessing the battery is a bit more complicated now — it took me 15 minutes, but I managed. The light is great, and it works on a rechargeable battery just like the more expensive Aria 2 model. I hid the price from my wife by using the parcel locker, because it used to cost under 300 PLN with the battery.

How can you ruin a pretty good piece of equipment during production? When the batteries are low, the flashlight starts to blink — the first time at night I didn't know what was happening, and in following cases it kept surprising me: the light goes out and comes back on again — I guess the designers intended this. The second clip for the strap got lost after about a month of use — that's how it was made. The battery cover doesn't close completely. The battery indicator with colors might be alright, but for example, for the military, it won't do — after turning off the flashlight, I'd like the light to go out immediately and not continue to shine in color for a bit.
