Ballistic eyewear incorporates frames crafted from lightweight and robust O Matter® material. The Oakley Three-Point Fit system enhances comfort and ensures the lenses remain perfectly aligned with the eyes. The adjacent nose piece is constructed from Unobtainium® material, which exhibits hydrophilic properties. The design of the frames is streamlined to accommodate hearing protection systems and communication gear. Additionally, they are fully compatible with helmet-mounted night vision devices.
The goggles offer exceptional protection, conforming to the stringent US ballistic protection standard MIL PRF-32432(Clause 3.5.1.1) and the ANSI Z87.1-2010 standard(Clause 5.1.4). The visor is fabricated with Oakley High Definition Optics (HDO®) technology using premium Plutonite® polycarbonate, providing superior optical quality. Furthermore, the lenses deliver complete protection against damaging ultraviolet and blue light up to 400 nm. They are equipped with an Anti-fog coating to prevent fogging and feature a scratch-resistant coating.
Designed with a tinted Grey visor, the goggles boast a visible light transmission of 18%, making them suitable for use in medium to bright lighting conditions. They meet MCEPS criteria for neutrality and chromaticity. The neutral contrast of the visor is well-suited for sunny days.
