It's a bit stiff, but that's the trade-off – it's made of thick foil. Closed with three snaps, ensuring tightness. I have some concerns about the cord; it didn't inspire my confidence, but you can always replace it with something else, just need to think about it.

Personally, I wouldn’t use it hanging on my neck on a string, especially with contents; I’d rather see it as extra protection for things like documents, wallets, or phones, carried in a backpack or kayak – it protects items perfectly, even in extreme conditions.
