Mil-Tec Softshell Explorer insulated waterproof pants - Olive

I have these pants in two colors. The advantages are waterproofness, thermal comfort, and roomy pockets. The disadvantage is they are quite wide. I'm 188 cm tall, weigh 85 kg, and my waist circumference is about 90 cm, so I chose size L. The pants have adjustable drawstrings at the waist and at the leg ends.

I tested the pants at -10°C, they worked well with tied-up legs. At 185 cm tall and 92 kg, size M fits (although the sizing is quite unusual). The material feels strange to the touch, probably because of the waterproofing. Overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

Great pants, very well insulated, so even during winter walks or camping in subzero temperatures you don't feel the cold. I recommend them!

When choosing the pants, I had a problem with the size, but the exchange went quickly and smoothly, and I eventually found the right fit. They fit well at the waist, the leg width does not bother me, and the bottom adjustment is very helpful. I had doubts about the length, but when walking this is not an issue. The pants are warm, so above 10 degrees Celsius they might not be suitable – perfect for winter trips, but for everyday wear in heated rooms they may be too hot.

The pants seem very warm and comfortable, but unfortunately, they are definitely too big, even though I chose according to the chart and my usual size. I decided to return them. I just want to emphasize that the sizing is really overestimated – I agree with other reviews.

Very nice pants, the cut is also quite good. Unfortunately, the Mil-Tec brand didn't get the sizing right – the pants are two sizes larger than stated. If you keep this in mind, they are very practical. I returned them and bought elsewhere because they didn't have my size here, but I still recommend them.

The sizes are a bit larger than standard. The pants are very well made and provide warmth – in most Polish conditions, thermal underwear isn't even needed. They are excellently waterproof. I recommend them.

The pants are very warm, but the sizing is significantly overstated and the legs are exceptionally wide.

I haven't tested them in rain yet. I have a 100 cm waist and am 185 cm tall, I bought size L. They are a bit too big, but I'll keep them — M could be too small. According to the chart, L is 94-99 cm, but in reality they are 104 cm. The legs are a bit long, but you can tighten them on the shoe with the drawstring.

Great pants. I am 182 cm tall, 90 cm waist and size M fits perfectly! However, you have to be careful because the sizes are quite overestimated.

The sizing is very overestimated, especially for sizes L and XL. Other than that, the pants are warm but have very wide legs, which can be bothersome during mountain hikes as they may flap in the wind. The advantage is that the pockets are very spacious.

Very fast delivery – that's already a big plus, and I haven't even assessed the product itself yet. First impression after opening is positive – the practical Velcro belt makes adjustment very easy. Numerous pockets and careful workmanship make a great impression. I haven't tested them in the field yet, but I think they will work great.

The product is indeed very solid and does not let water through. They are light and comfortable to wear. The sizes are more generous than standard, for example, L is a bit larger. Also ideal for winter, you can wear thermal underwear underneath.

For the first time, I received pants that fit perfectly – they are neither too long, nor too tight or loose at the waist. Thanks to the elastic waistband, they adjust themselves to the figure, which wasn't mentioned in the product description and is a big benefit. Additionally, they have many pockets, are warm, and provide good ventilation. Size L at 110 kg body weight.

The pants are comfortable, warm, and very well made.
