M-Tac Multitool with Holster - Green/Black

Multitool in the Green/Black color variant, featuring 11 practical tools crafted from stainless steel. Its lightweight build and compact size make it perfect for everyday carry (EDC). The package comes with a nylon sheath that can be attached to a belt or gear strap.

 

Stainless steel, anti-reflective coating, handle, liner lock

Both the entire frame and all tools are constructed from stainless steel and are coated with a matte, anti-reflective finish. An ergonomically contoured handle ensures a secure grip, and special cutouts in the design considerably reduce the multitool's weight. The main blade includes a Liner Lock, which improves safety during operation.

    The sheath is rather unnecessary because the multitool can be stored anywhere. It performed great in various situations in the forest. A saw lock would be useful, because it can fold while cutting, but I still highly recommend it.

    I'm satisfied with the purchase. I bought it as a substitute for the ST300 for my EDC backpack. It's a bit heavier, but the number of tools is sufficient. The knife needs sharpening, the rest is fine. I haven't had it long, so it's hard to say more, but I recommend it as a cheaper alternative – if it's lost, the loss won't be big.

    I bought a cheap multitool mainly out of curiosity, to keep it in my wife's car glove compartment. First impression – pretty heavy. Second – well made. The blade needs sharpening, but you can easily open it with your thumb and the lock works solidly. The tool set is basic. Instead of a rope-cutting hook, I would prefer a classic can opener with a small screwdriver. The tools aren't locked – that's a big disadvantage. Another minus is the delicate pliers, which look like a toy compared to a Leatherman, and the cutters are rather small. On the whole, the build quality is quite good, without play and jamming. The pouch is quite flimsy, better for a pocket than a belt. For this price, as a tool for the car – it's okay.
