Lightweight and durable, made of 500D Cordura, magazine drop bag. Attached to the belt with straps system. It closes with an elastic shock-cord with a stopper. The bottom of the bag is made of nylon mesh, which acts as drainage holes.
When not in use, the bag can be rolled up, so it takes up little space and doesn't get in the way when moving. When folded, the bag is secured with a snap closure strap.
The name MM-14 is an abbreviation of маскувальний малюнок (maskuval'nyy malyunok = camouflage pattern) and the year 2014, when this camouflage was officially approved. The pattern references the American UCP camouflage, but shades matched to the colors naturally occurring in Ukraine were chosen. The introduction of the MM-14 camouflage pattern was an important element of the reform of the Ukrainian army aimed at breaking away from post-Soviet identification. Unofficially, the MM14 camouflage also goes by the names Ukrainian Pixel Camo and Ukrainian Digital Camo.
