After a few days of using the filter in the field, I am satisfied with it. It did not get clogged (probably also because the water was very clean), and cleaning is simple – just follow the manufacturer's instructions if you notice a decrease in water flow. The large thread allows you to quickly fill a bottle with a larger amount of water. An important advantage is the possibility of gravity operation – you just need to turn it upside down and you don't have to squeeze the water out, although the flow is slower in this position. The manufacturer recommends cleaning with their disinfection tablets or a few drops of household bleach per liter of water. The prepared liquid should be poured into the bottle and passed through the filter to disinfect it after use or before a longer break. Detailed instructions are in the included leaflet, which is worth reading and following. A disadvantage of the filter is the bottle – you can't buy it separately, so if it gets damaged, there's a problem. You can easily find the differences between this system and straw-type filters, such as the Sawyer Mini, on your own.
