The jacket works great both as an insulating layer and as a standalone outerwear – it is very warm and light. I always have it with me, as this is already my third jacket from this brand. In this wz 93 version there are velcro patches on both sleeves. I definitely recommend it!

The Wolfhound without a hood is a great addition to your wardrobe for tougher weather conditions and a very good alternative to thick fleeces or softshells. The balance between weight, comfort and price is very favorable! However, in severe cold, I would choose the hooded version as a stand-alone jacket. It's best to have both versions – it's hard to find a better product in this price class. I highly recommend it!

The Wolfhound jacket without a hood is a great addition to a softshell set and an excellent alternative to heavy fleeces. The balance of insulation, weight, and packability here is at a very high level! The lack of a hood isn’t a problem when you put on an extra softshell or hardshell layer. However, if you need a jacket for winter as the main layer, I suggest choosing the hooded version. Ideally, have both – it's hard to find a better product at this price. I definitely recommend it!

Fantastic jacket, takes up little space and provides great warmth. It easily fits under a uniform sweatshirt and does not stick out. It ensures thermal comfort. Highly recommended.
-
I’ve never had such a good jacket – it insulates excellently from the cold at temperatures around -4 degrees. The very breathable material means you don't have to take it off in warm interiors.
-
The jacket is nice, but unfortunately it was too short for me. Initially, I bought size M, but it turned out to be too small, so I chose L – it was better, but in the end I went for the model with a hood, which is longer and doesn't widen the chest.
-
I wear this compact jacket on cooler days, usually keeping it packed in its pouch in my backpack while outdoors. Even though it's thin, it retains heat very well. If you choose the size correctly, you can wear a thicker layer underneath and it still doesn't restrict freedom of movement, which is very convenient when resting.
-
A solid jacket, I have no major reservations. Nevertheless, the size runs a little small – if you're in between sizes, it's better to choose the bigger one. The jacket material is soft, so it can be easily damaged by sharp surfaces, so it's worth keeping that in mind.
-
The jacket looks inconspicuous – it is light and thin, but provides very good insulation and wearing comfort. I haven't had a chance to test its waterproofness in the rain yet, but it retains heat very well, doesn't restrict movement, and looks good even on a slim figure. The camouflage is also a big advantage.

I am 191 cm tall, MON size m/XXL – Helikon XL fits perfectly. Tested at 3 degrees and wind, no sun – felt like -1. Worn over a green t-shirt, it provided solid thermal comfort. With a thin merino 170mm, 6 hours at a perceived zero was definitely enough, I even had to unzip the jacket sometimes. The lack of a collar is both a drawback (necessity of wearing a scarf/buff) and an advantage (the MON Gore is visible underneath). The Taiga Green color may resemble a warmer from a distance. I highly recommend it for both duty and hiking purposes.

This is the first Helikon jacket with insulation that I have bought and I have to say that Climashield gives a great effect. The jacket is very warm and very comfortable to wear.

The Helikon Wolfhound Climashield Apex jacket is a great choice – it worked well as insulation at the border. It is very warm. I use it every day in winter; just a shirt under it is enough and it meets my expectations. Highly recommended.
-
The jacket is very light, weighs little, can be easily compressed, and at the same time provides excellent protection against the cold, even when wet. Unfortunately, it tears easily.
-
Great jacket for spring, autumn and mild winter. The Climashield filling works very well, providing excellent insulation. Additionally, the outer material is very resistant to damage.
-
The jacket is simple, but very pleasant. Its biggest advantage is its light weight and good thermal insulation properties. When packed, it doesn't take up much space, and it also comes with a compression bag. Personally, I use it as a warm layer between a fleece and a shell jacket for severe cold, but it will also work well as an outer layer – you just have to be careful, as it is not exceptionally resistant to damage. I am 182 cm tall and weigh 90 kg; size L is right for me.
