These modern tactical shorts are crafted from high-quality PoliCotton Stretch RipStop material (48% cotton, 50% polyester, 2% elastane). Known for its high resistance to abrasion and tearing, this fabric is also lighter and dries more quickly than 100% cotton material.
They represent an outstanding balance between military and civilian clothing, featuring a discreet design along with the functionality of combat pants. With an innovative cut, precise stitching, and durable fabric, these shorts ensure freedom of movement and longevity. The ample pockets and their thoughtful arrangement make these shorts ideal for urban environments and reliable for outdoor activities.
The shorts are outfitted with ten practical pockets:
- two classic ones at hip level with reinforced edges,
- four on the thighs (two large ones with zippers and two smaller ones with Velcro),
- four on the back (two large with two smaller located within the larger ones).

Instead of a button, the shorts use a wide Velcro strap offering a 6 cm adjustment. An elastic band in the waistband enhances the fit according to individual body features.
Belt loops accommodate belts up to 50 mm wide, with the two front loops featuring additional attachments for, for example, a carabiner.

Rhodesian Camo is a traditional camouflage design developed in the 1960s for the Rhodesian Armed Forces, now known as Zimbabwe. It was created for military operations during regional conflicts, particularly the Bush War from 1964 to 1979, and tailored to the environment of southern Africa, including arid bushland, grassy plains, and sparse vegetation. This pattern stands out due to its distinctive hand-painted look resembling brushstrokes. It features irregular horizontal shapes in green and brown hues, set against a light green or sandy backdrop. With a three-color contrasting scheme that mimics natural elements like leaves, branches, and grasses, the camouflage effectively obscures the silhouette, making detection difficult in densely vegetated areas.

After a month of use I can say they are fine. I really like the camouflage, but that's a matter of taste. For people with a larger belly, the elastic waistband is a big advantage. Plus, it's a product from a Polish company, so you can support a local brand.

The shorts are very comfortable and practical. They fit more snugly than traditional BDU, have convenient Velcro adjustment, and a unique, unusual camouflage. They would be great for hiking.

After buying five pairs of long UTPs, I decided to try my first short UTS in Desert Night Camo and once again I am very satisfied with the quality. The shorts seem to have a slightly thicker material, which I think will translate to longer durability. In reality, they are darker than in the photos on Militaria.pl, which I consider a plus. I was worried that the 11' length would be too long, but for my XL size, it turned out to be perfect (183/93).

Well-made shorts at an attractive price. The camouflage colors are vibrant. Typical Helikon brand quality. Sturdy material, thoughtfully designed pocket layout. The cut is very comfortable and practical.

Very nice pants. Maybe a bit too eye-catching for a trip to the woods, but they are very well made, comfortable, and attract attention. In general, I recommend all Helikon products. I already have a few and I'm very satisfied with them. The prices are high, but the quality comes with them. And of course, we are supporting a Polish manufacturer :)

Extremely comfortable pants, great both in the city and on trips. The large number of pockets lets you safely store everything you need—no worries about losing your things! I also bought this model for my kids. Sizing is absolutely correct. I honestly recommend them!

I agree with other opinions – these are nice shorts with interesting camouflage. I paid attention to comments that they're not stretchy and chose a bigger size. Maybe I got a better batch, because mine do stretch and I have about 2 cm of extra room.

Very comfortable and pleasant to wear shorts. The material is not stretchy, but it's comfortable. The pockets are well arranged, including two zippered ones, so you won't lose anything. The material is sturdy, and I hope they will last a long time.

Helikon UTS is actually a shorter version of the UTP – the workmanship and cut are just as excellent. I already have UTP pants in Rhodesian camouflage and the UTS shorts didn’t disappoint me either. I definitely recommend them.

The shorts have an original pattern that I immediately liked. I'd describe the cut as "slim fit," but I think the pockets are a bit too narrow. If I were to buy again, I'd choose a larger size. After several washes, the colors are still vivid and fresh, and the reinforced seams are an extra advantage.

After another pair of UTS shorts, I have mixed feelings. The cut and stitching are traditionally of high quality, but the material in the Night Camo version differs from the standard green or coyote. It's described as stretch ripstop, but I don't notice any elasticity, and additionally, it's thick and stiff. It doesn't resemble the breathable ripstop I'm familiar with from Helikon products; it's more similar to cotton UTPs. For shorts, it could be better. On the plus side, the night camo looks great in person.

This is already my third pair of these shorts. The camouflage was most important to me, but the quality and practicality are top notch—completely different from typical BDU. I honestly recommend them—they work well both in hot climates and during the summer in Poland.
