Helikon UTP PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop Pants - Desert Night Camo
Urban Tactical Pants (UTP) made of high-quality PolyCotton Stretch Rip-Stop fabric with a grammage of 220 g/m2. This fabric is highly resistant to abrasion and tearing, which ensures long-term use. Thanks to the well-thought-out arrangement of numerous pockets, the pants are suitable for both urban environments and outdoor activities.
Durable PolyCotton Stretch material, hard-wearing lining and Rip-Stop weave
The PolyCotton Stretch fabric, weighing 220 g/m2, is made of breathable cotton (50%), robust polyester (48%), and elastane (2%). It ensures an excellent fit, offers resistance to mechanical damage, and is lighter while drying faster compared to materials entirely made of cotton.
The reinforced Rip-Stop weave, featuring thicker threads that form a mesh, prevents further damage if a hole or tear occurs. The design also includes a durable polyester and cotton blend lining that protects against wind and permits air circulation.
12 functional pockets and compartments for protective inserts
The pants have 12 pockets:
- two classic hip pockets with reinforced edges
- four thigh pockets (two wide zippered and two narrow ones with hook and loop fastener)
- four back pockets (two wide and two narrow, placed inside the wide ones)
- two inner pockets in the crotch area, ideal for a tactical flashlight or spare magazine
There are compartments at knee height, which allow protective inserts to be inserted.
Velcro for adjusting the width, elastic band and loops for accouterments
A broad velcro replaces the traditional button, providing 6 cm of adjustability. A stretchable band sewn into the waistband ensures a more customized fit. Two front loops are equipped with additional loops that allow for attaching a carabiner, for instance.

camouflage Desert Night Camo
Desert Night Camo (DNC) is a unique camouflage pattern developed by the US Army during the 1980s specifically for nighttime operations in desert environments. Intended to be worn over other uniforms, it saw prominent use during Operation Desert Storm in the Persian Gulf. The pattern features a grid-like design of dark green squares and crosses set against an olive-green background. Its primary aim was to interfere with early forms of enemy night vision equipment. Although it was somewhat effective in practice at reducing visibility in night vision devices, it represented an innovative tactic in night camouflage.
