Helikon Trooper StormStretch Softshell MK2 Jacket - Taiga Green

The jacket is lightweight and comfortable, provides good freedom of movement and flexibility. The softshell jacket itself does not provide much warmth, so on colder days or in strong winds it is worth wearing something underneath. For this reason, I rate it 3 stars.

I hesitated for a long time before buying this jacket. Ultimately, the lack of a full ECWCS set offered by the Ministry of National Defense convinced me to purchase it. So far I have had the opportunity to use it for two days in November. It works well as a lightweight and handy layer protecting against the wind. However, its effectiveness depends on proper underwear and fleece layers that help retain heat. The jacket seems really resistant to mechanical damage.

The Helikon Trooper Stormstretch Softshell Mk2 (wz. 93 Pantera PL Woodland) jacket is an excellent choice. The material is very stretchy, providing complete freedom of movement, while also offering good protection against wind and light rain. The hood fits great, the pockets are very practical, and the craftsmanship is of high quality. The PL Woodland camouflage looks fantastic and blends perfectly with the surroundings. Using it in the field is a real pleasure — I highly recommend it!

Very good jacket – compared to the Trooper MK1, many interesting and well-thought-out improvements have been introduced, although the lumbar pocket is now missing. The workmanship is at a high level.

I highly recommend the Trooper MK2 jacket. At first, I was worried about the size because I usually wear XL from this brand, but this time I chose L and it turned out to fit perfectly. Now I just need to try it out in the field. Highly recommend.

The jacket is extremely comfortable, has a hidden hood, and dries quickly. It fits very well and has a great cut. I am very satisfied, I would order it in another color too, but unfortunately brown is not available right now.

The jacket is exceptionally light, comfortable, and well made. It has enough pockets, although it takes some getting used to their position on the front, which is a bit higher. It protects against light rain, but during heavier downpours over time, it may let water in at pressure points, such as on the shoulders under a backpack, which is typical for softshells. The sizing matches the size chart – I chose M with a height of 180 cm and a weight of 81 kg, and the jacket is not tight. The order and shipping went very smoothly. I recommend it!

I give it five stars - the jacket is awesome, very lightweight, windproof, and can handle light rain. It's quite long, covers the back, so it doesn't let wind in from below.

This jacket is an absolute essential. It’s lightweight, comfortable, and made from durable material. It takes up little space in a backpack. I had the previous Mk I version, now I use the Mk II and highly recommend it. The colors don't fade in the wash, the pockets are practical, and the hood can be hidden. The price-to-quality ratio is very favorable.

Hi! The jacket is extremely comfortable, and the quality is flawless, just as I expected from Helikon. The sleeve pockets are a new and surprisingly practical solution for me. The armpit ventilation in this jacket is my first experience with such a feature—it makes a huge difference, and I can't imagine a jacket without it anymore. I definitely recommend it!

Compared to the first Trooper, this one is lighter and has better-placed chest pockets. It's a great emergency option for your backpack or car.

I have just received a new jacket. I also have the previous model. Unfortunately, I have to admit that Helikon has reduced the quality compared to the old, proven version. The jacket is looser and doesn't have as many improvements as the older one. On the plus side, the material is a bit thicker and the color resembles WZ more than in the previous edition. I’ll consider whether to buy it again once I wear this one out. 420 PLN is quite a lot for me.

I have the first generation of this jacket and compared to the Mk2 version, I noticed a few changes – mainly a different cut, a different placement of the pocket on the sleeves, and a different shape of the hood. You have to get used to this a bit, but the jacket is just as good as the first edition.

Great softshell jacket, very breathable, perfect for hiking. It handles heavy rain well too. Overall, it's truly an excellent choice.

The description for the fifth pocket has already been corrected and is fine. Size 2XL – the width is correct, measures 138 cm, the sleeve length from the collar is 84.5 cm (the drawing may be misleading), the back length is 85 cm, and the front is 67 cm, measured without the collar.
