Helikon Foxhole Bag 4,5 l - Shadow Grey

I bought this product intending to attach it to my backpack or wear it on my belt. I was pleasantly surprised by its capacity and solid construction. The set includes a strap, but it is quite short and carrying it over the shoulder, like a quiver, is uncomfortable. If someone wants to wear the pouch on their back or in front, like a fanny pack, they should purchase an additional Helikon strap to extend it. However, the best solution seems to be attaching it under your backpack. Inside, you can easily fit a Trangia Micro stove set with a 0.5l pot, and there is still room for food or other accessories. You can also pack a tarp and a poncho—both fit without any trouble. I think that with tight packing, you could also fit a bushman blanket or a light sleeping bag.

Perfect! Very practical. Allows you to attach a jacket to the outside of a bag for quick access and to free up space/volume. Maybe I should buy a second one!

The bag is very versatile – you can wear it by itself on a strap or attach it to a backpack thanks to its compatibility with the MOLLE/PALS system. Its 4.5-liter capacity is perfect for everyday use – it holds a bottle, a jacket, small items, and if you pack it well, even more things. I definitely recommend it.

Great bag. After watching many reviews on YouTube and taking advantage of a promotional offer, I bought two at once and am very satisfied. The only thing is that it might not be very comfortable to wear on the waist for a slim person. My size is S, or W30, and on the Foxhole belt it feels a bit loose, I would like to tighten it more, but there’s nowhere left to tighten. Still, I am delighted with the bag and the coyote color.

I noticed this bag with other people and I really liked it. After buying it, I am very satisfied with it. It has a lot of space, and because you can use it both as a pocket in a backpack and as a separate bag with a strap, it's really great! The promotion was excellent. I recommend it!

Helikon Foxhole 4.5L Bag - Shadow Grey. I was waiting for a price deal and finally got it. For just over 50 PLN, I received a high-quality external bag. The only thing I don't understand is why they used plastic clips instead of the traditional MOLLE system again – that's the only downside I can point out.

The bag is well made, although it has some significant flaws. Instead of classic molle straps, the manufacturer used plastic clips, which, although made of strong material, will wear out the fastest. You also can't attach them as securely as traditional molle/pals straps, so when running, the bag is less stable on the backpack. The material and the way the roll-top closes protect the contents from moisture well, which is important for this type of bag.

A very lightweight and spacious bag that can be used as an additional pocket for a backpack (that’s how I use it) or on its own. As usual, Helikon’s products are made with very high quality. I already own several and none have ever let me down in terms of functionality or looks.

It is large enough to fit a rolled-up fleece or jacket. The roll-top closed with a buckle protects the interior from unwanted items or sand. Buckles on the sides allow secure attachment on the chosen side. The carry strap lets you wear the bag on your shoulder or at your waist, and the elastic cord allows for compressing the contents. It would be great if the manufacturer offered larger sizes of the bag in the future.

I recommend this 4.5L bag to anyone for whom a typical waist bag is too small and a 10L backpack is too big for short outings. You can easily fit a knife, a bottle of water, and possibly a light, compressible jacket. You can also attach it to a backpack as an additional pocket. There are really a lot of ways to use it. The bag itself is very light, so it’s worth having it with you just in case.

I didn't expect the product to be this good. It looks unimpressive, but actually holds a lot. It has elastic drawstrings and a roll-up, waterproof closure. You can wear it as a waist bag, a shoulder bag, attach it under a molle system, or, with a bit of creativity, to other bags as well.

Foxhole is a very versatile bag. Depending on your needs, it can work as a small backpack, an extra external pocket for a backpack, an internal organizer, or a larger waist bag. The last option isn't ideal for very slim people, as the straps are rather long. However, with a little ingenuity, it can be adapted. The only thing that annoys me about this product is the mounting buckles – I have trouble handling them even with bare hands in comfortable conditions. But practice makes perfect, so I keep trying.

A solid bag, very roomy for its size, and it also has a tight, waterproof closure. An additional plus is the ability to attach it to a belt or backpack. Very compact and useful – I recommend it!
