Helikon Folding Outdoor Cap - Olive Green

If you value practical solutions, you will definitely be satisfied with this cap. Good quality, looks great, and you don’t have to worry about losing it, because after taking it off you can easily put it in your pocket.

I have mixed feelings. This is another model of Helikon cap and again I think this company doesn't know how to make them. Softshell for cooler days, but it's less warm than a classic cap. It looks more civilian, but the huge hook-and-loop panels are completely unnecessary, they get damaged and fuzz easily when in contact with the hard side. On the plus side – the mesh under the front panel, because Helikon usually doesn't use linings there, which in other (often cheaper) brands is standard. As usual with Helikon – the product is nicely finished, which makes you want to wear it right away, and it becomes your favorite cap from the start. Waterproof and fairly civilian, but I take off two stars for the unfortunate hook-and-loops.

The product looks nice and is well made. The cap is rather compact in size, so on larger heads (59/60) it may seem a bit small, although it doesn’t squeeze. The velcro allows for wide adjustment. I can't comment on the durability of folding yet, as I haven't used it long enough. Delivery was very fast.

Advantages (objective): the insulation does its job, the cap folds well. Disadvantages (objective and subjective): insulation only at the front, the cap is quite shallow and looks a bit strange on the head.

It's even warm.

This is another cap for my collection. The black one met my expectations, and this one is also very good.

I bought the black and olive version. The cap is more suitable for spring or autumn. I used the green one often and the material discolored after sweating. The velcro also changed color after washing and exposure to the sun. Besides that, the product is well made and there are no other issues.

Very good product, which I confirm after almost a year of use. The folding visor is really a good solution, big plus for this feature. Overall, the cap is definitely fine.

The cap is quite shallow, slips off the head and has insulation only at the front. It's rather only suitable for spring, not for autumn or winter.

Great cap. It's much warmer than it feels when you hold it in your hand. The front is lined with a microfiber-like material, which provides extra insulation.

Thanks to the foldable brim, it fits easily into a pocket, is warm, looks good, and on top of that, it comes from a Polish brand.

The cap has insulation only at the front, but you can always put on a hood so your head doesn't get blown on. It's great that the cap can be folded and put in the pocket of a Helikon jacket.

The cap is cool and comfortable to use. We'll see how it performs in winter. I recommend it.
