Helikon EDC Large Wallet - Tiger Stripe

I highly recommend this product. I believe it can serve as an EDC wallet. In addition to enough cash for a trip to southern Spain and a month’s stay at a campsite, I also fit a Ka-Bar Dozier folding knife in it, as well as a Helikon EDC Mini Multicam Black wallet containing: two survival cards (one in a leather case), a magnifying lens, an Elite Force folding knife, an ID card, a driver’s license, three payment cards, and Jula and Biedronka cards. All of this is possible thanks to the practical external zipper.

The wallet has a coin pocket, which is rare nowadays and I really appreciate it. It is a durable, compact wallet that is extremely sturdy. Despite its small size, it holds a lot.

The wallet is comfortable and holds a lot of things. The hidden pocket for banknotes works great and is easy to overlook at first opening, which can mislead a thief. The zipper has some minor issues when fully closed, but I often carry the wallet unzipped in my jacket, pants, or bag and nothing has ever fallen out. The compartments for cards are spacious enough to conveniently insert and remove your fingers, and as long as you don't keep the wallet open facing down, everything stays in place. The material is solid, the wallet is practical, and I consider it a good purchase.

The wallet is nice, but a downside is the pockets for cards and the ID are too loose, as already mentioned. You have to be careful not to lose your documents. Unfortunately, car documents don’t fit—it would only take a few more millimeters. I keep the vehicle registration in the second banknote compartment. The zipper has its pros and cons—it provides security but is less convenient than Velcro. It’s also unclear how long it will last with intensive use. I ordered several wallets to compare, and ultimately chose the Helikon despite the higher price. It's worth ordering different models and picking the best for yourself.

This is the first Helikon product that disappointed me, and I am a big fan of this brand. The wallet is completely unthought-out, it looks like it was made in a hurry without testing. The card pockets are too wide, so cards easily fall out, which could lead to losing documents. However, the vehicle registration slot is too small—you have to keep it in the banknote pocket, which is also loose. You have to be very careful when opening it so you don’t lose important things. Two positives are the ability to close the wallet with a zipper and the coin pocket with a zipper. For me, it’ll be a spare in the drawer. Overall, I do not recommend it; there are better-designed wallets, and even the cheaper Mil-tec is more comfortable and safer. Helikon failed to meet expectations this time.

The wallet is solidly made, has the right dimensions—not too big, not too small. It easily holds both coins and banknotes. The extra 'hidden' compartment for banknotes is a very nice idea. The only downside is that the card pockets are too roomy, and cards sometimes fall out, but apart from that, the quality is at a very good level.

A big plus is the coin pocket, which is missing in more and more wallets. The material and the zipper are very durable. The wallet should be long-lasting and serve for many years.

It fits easily in a pants pocket. I keep my car key in a pocket with a zipper. Finally, I don't have to worry about where it is. An additional advantage is the hidden pocket for banknotes.

The wallet works quite well, especially for tourist trips, as you can fit all the necessary things in it. I recommend it.

This is my first wallet from Helikon and it surprised me positively right from the start :) It fits perfectly in the pocket of a jacket, hoodie, or pants. Inside, it easily holds coins, and the interior layout makes it easy to organize small items.

Very good quality, roomy wallet, solid zipper. Fits perfectly in jeans pocket. You can slide a payment card next to the small logo in the corner and pay without taking it out of the wallet. A very practical solution.
