Helikon EDC Backpack 21 l - Melange Black/Grey

Durable backpack made of high-quality material; even after several years of use, it still looks almost like new. I was looking for a model without external pockets, but even if someone needs them, they can easily be added as accessories.

Excellent backpack. High-quality workmanship, functional solutions, and durability. It works great both for a short trip and a longer journey – it's also quite roomy. I highly recommend backpacks from this brand!

I'm moderately satisfied. The positives are quality, durability, appearance, and a comfortable carrying system, but it lacks side pockets for bottles and more compartments inside – even after buying an organizer, there's still not enough space for small items. When you carry several things in it, everything gets mixed up like in a sailor’s bag (e.g., lighter, cream, compass, folder, notebook, walkie-talkies, pen, sharpening stone, first aid kit, and other small items). I think there should be Velcro in the larger pocket (or even in both), and the laptop pocket should be available to buy separately (I don't carry a laptop myself). For such an expensive EDC bag from Helikon, I expected a bit more.

It works well as a first universal backpack. It may not be made from Cordura like other models in this series, but it is still quite durable, and the two large compartments allow for convenient interior organization. One of them is equipped with holders for panels, and in the other you can mount panels with Velcro.

The backpack is sturdy and thoughtfully designed. Unfortunately, it’s not possible to buy additional Helikon pouches in this color. It only has two compartments, so you quickly feel the need to buy organizers.

The perfect backpack for EDC. It’s quite spacious, although sometimes I miss having one more additional pocket. On the plus side, there is Velcro in the smaller pocket, so you can add organizers.

The backpack looks very modest. It has a neutral, urban appearance but hides a lot of usability potential. The materials used seem strong and durable. The well-made hip and chest straps are a huge advantage. After the purchase, I was pleasantly surprised by how lightweight and well-made it is.

Very durable and excellent backpack. I really liked the Velcro in the smaller compartment, where you can mount organizers. Helikon products are very solid. I also like that you can choose subdued colors that don’t stand out, although I liked this model so much that I might buy another one, this time in camouflage or coyote color.

I finally found a backpack for everyday use that also works well at the shooting range. It has two large compartments, and the MOLLE system on the front and sides allows you to add extra pouches for small items. The backpack is comfortable and practical, with a removable hip belt, making it great for both work and outdoor trips.
