Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.

The Helikon BDU Cotton Rip-Stop - Khaki pants look good. However, even for someone who doesn’t prefer tight-fitting pants, the legs are too wide. I had to return them.

The pants are light, thin, and breathable. At the promotional price of 108 PLN, it's a great deal. For someone 190 cm tall and weighing 72 kg, size M long fits perfectly. I'll see how they hold up with use—I’ve only tried them on so far.

The pants are comfortable and practical, but wrinkle a lot. The buttons, as in most Helikon pants, are poorly sewn on, so you need to fix them yourself. The pockets are roomy and do not pinch.

The pants are wide and comfortable. Since they are made of pure cotton, they work great in hot weather. After the first trips, they seem very durable. They don't pill as much as other cotton pants. The only downside might be that they wrinkle compared to models with polyester in the blend.

The pants are well made (except for the buttons falling off, which are easy to sew back on). The legs are wide—proper cargo pants, so you don’t look like you’re wearing women’s skinny trousers. The pockets are spacious—even when full, they don’t get in the way while walking. The 100% cotton version wrinkles more than the cotton-polyester blend, but after a quick ironing they look good.
