The cap is crafted from superior PoliCotton RipStop material (60% cotton, 40% polyester), offering excellent abrasion and tear resistance, while being lighter and drying quicker than pure cotton. Ideal for shielding your head during sunny days.
Equally suitable for woodland excursions, the cap shields your head from descending leaves and pesky insects. It features a concealed pocket inside for storing items like a map.
A piece of velcro tape is sewn on the back for attaching various emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or Morale Patches, allowing for a personalized touch.
The patrol cap comes in the Universal Camouflage Pattern color scheme, as worn by line troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.

UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) is a digital camouflage design introduced in the early 21st century as the successor to US Woodland and Desert patterns. It integrates camouflaging capabilities across different terrains—forest, desert, and urban—by blending shades of green and beige with gray. The spot configuration is inspired by the MARPAT pattern, and its pastel, low-contrast hues form a pixelated micro-pattern that optimally camouflages at close range but appears as a single silhouette from a distance. UCP was noted for its high effectiveness in infrared detection, leading to its adoption, although it was eventually replaced by the OCP camouflage derived from the MultiCam pattern.

This is my second cap of this kind (I lost the previous one). Plus for availability of large sizes (I wear 62). The cap is comfortable and stays on the head well. Very nice hidden pocket. It might get a bit too warm in it during hot weather.
