An interesting gadget, but it is made of stiff plastic that only fits flat surfaces. The Velcro holds quite well, but for example, on a backpack where the surface is a bit curved, the edges stick up slightly. It doesn't necessarily mean you’ll lose it easily, but it doesn’t look great. I wouldn’t choose to attach it to a uniform or a sleeve.
