The Eberlestock Upranger Backpack in Dry Earth boasts a 53.4-liter capacity. Featuring a modular interior with adjustable dividers and detachable side panels along with MOLLE/PALS system straps. The main compartment with a zipper closure opens from the back, making it easier to access the equipment during field use. The backpack is equipped with a polycarbonate base, which protects the carrying system and contents from dirt when placed on the ground.
The interior has a modular design with configurable walls attached with Velcro, which can be arranged as needed depending on the type of equipment being carried. This solution allows precise organization of the contents and prevents them from shifting. Additionally, the main compartment contains two flat pockets, suitable for documents, maps, or other small accessories. Additional pockets are located at the top and bottom of the backpack, ensuring quick access to necessary items.
On the sides, there are two detachable panels, each with three zippered pockets. The panels are attached using compression straps with fastex buckles, between which additional equipment such as a cover, tripod, or other gear requiring convenient transport can be carried.
MOLLE/PALS System
The MOLLE/PALS system straps are placed on the side panels, hip belt, top pocket, and inside the backpack. They allow the attachment of additional pockets or accessories compatible with this standard. Thanks to them, the backpack can be easily customized to the user's individual needs and type of activity, whether it’s a shooting range, training ground, or field expedition.
Carrying System, Hip Belt, Chest Strap, D-rings
Adjustable, padded shoulder straps and the back part of the backpack provide comfort even when carrying heavier gear for extended periods. Soft padding minimizes pressure points, and the adjustability allows the backpack to fit the user's body. The shoulder straps are additionally equipped with D-rings, enabling the attachment of small accessories.
Even weight distribution is supported by the detachable, adjustable hip belt, which reduces shoulder load and transfers some of the weight to the hips, enhancing stability during walking. Additional support is provided by the chest strap, keeping the shoulder straps in the correct position and preventing them from slipping down. This solution improves the backpack's balance and comfort of movement in the field, especially during dynamic activities or longer treks.
