Camouflage Woodland
The Woodland camouflage pattern, also referred to as U.S. Woodland or M81, was initially introduced to the US Armed Forces in the early 1980s, evolving from the earlier ERDL camouflage. This pattern served as the standard for the US military for over twenty years, until the late 2000s. Featured by its large, irregular patches of green, brown, beige, and black, it offers excellent camouflage and distortion properties, particularly in forested landscapes. Due to its efficacy and widespread recognition, it has inspired numerous variants used in more than 60 uniforms worldwide. Furthermore, the pattern has significantly influenced popular culture, transitioning from military use to daily fashion.
