The MA-1 jacket, made of durable, damage-resistant materials, effectively protects against cold, wind and moisture. Its reversible design, inspired by its original use for USAF pilots, allows it to be worn both in the classic style and with a visible orange side, which improves visibility in difficult conditions. Durable materials and double-sided design
The upper layer is made of sturdy and abrasion-resistant nylon, which protects against wind and moisture. Synthetic polyester fiber fill ensures thermal comfort in lower temperatures.
The MA1 can be worn on either side. The inside has a distinctive orange color, referring to the original purpose of MA-1 jackets, which were used by USAF pilots. In the event of an emergency landing or shoot-down, the bright color increased the chances of being quickly found by emergency services. Nowadays, this solution can be useful when walking on unlit roads.
Thermal strip and elastic cuffs
The closure of the MA-1 Heritage jacket is a one-way zipper with an eco-leather handle for easy use with gloves. An internal thermal strip protects the zipper, further protecting against the cold. At the collar, cuffs and waist there are elastic drawstrings, which protect against the cold and improve the fit of the jacket.
5 practical pockets
The jacket has five roomy pockets:
- Two front ones closed with patches and press studs,
- two internal ones closed with press studs,
- one on the left sleeve, closed with a zipper.
A Remove Before Flight tag was placed on the sleeve near the pocket, adding to the military style. On the left sleeve is a tag with the manufacturer's logo.
