Taipan AGM thermal imager TM15-256

The TM15-256 thermal imaging monocular from AGM Global Vision is a versatile device for effective observation of the environment both at night and during adverse weather conditions. The monocular will find use in patrol service, rescue or in the wider outdoors.

A powerful IR detector with a resolution of 256 x 192 px and a frame rate of 25 Hz provides a smooth thermal image. The thermal detector allows the user to work smoothly and detect large objects from a distance of up to 710 meters. An important feature is the ability to accurately determine the distance to the target or the ability to track the object.

The monocular features an LCOS display with a resolution of 720 x 540 px. The user can select one of four color palettes in which the image will be displayed:
- Black Hot,
- White Hot,
- Red Hot,
- Fusion.

Themonocular supports 1x, 2x 4x and 8x digital zoom. The model also features a video recorder function, the recorded files save to the built-in 8GB internal memory. Files can also be transferred directly to a phone using the Wi-Fi module or to a computer via the USB-C port. The Hot Spot Mark function detects and marks the hottest point of the observed object with a green cross.

The device is powered by a built-in lithium battery, which allows for about 8 hours of operation (with Wi-fi mode on).

In addition to the rugged casing that meets IP67 standards (total dustproofness and protection against immersion in water - max. 30 minutes at a depth of up to 1 meter), the thermal imager also allows operation in temperatures from -20 deg. C to 55 deg. C.
