It is very sharp and precise, works brilliantly for peeling. You have to be careful, though, because it is really sharp, and it has a smooth blade instead of a serrated one.

The blade length is 8 cm, a bit shorter than the standard serrated one (about 11 cm). It is very sharp, which makes it perfect for peeling – 8 cm is totally enough, and it's also safer.
